Show and Tell Winners 2013
Well done to the Orthotictechnicians.com Show and Tell winners last weekend.
1st Prize wen to James Fuller from Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham and the runner up was Derek Bremner from Perth Royal Infirmary

Returning for the second time, as part of the Technical programme at the 2013 BAPO Conference to be held at Telford International Center on Friday 22nd March 2013, is the Show and Tell. This is you opportunity to show the rest of the Technician attendees your favorite Technical tips.
This can be shown as a PowerPoint presentation, a short video or you can stand up and tells us all your tip or manufacturing technique or if you are shy you can get the session chair to give your presentation. Your presentation or video should last no more that 5 mins. You can even send along the actual product you have manufactured with a short description of how it was manufactured.
The best presentation chosen by our judges will receive a cash prize of £100.

Algeos are pleased to announce that they will be launching their NEW in-shoe pressure system, the Podotech Elftman Matrix, at a workshop on Friday 4th May at Sheffield University. There will be presentations and workshops hosted by experts in the field of plantar pressure, who will highlight the importance of measuring plantar pressure and how measurement systems can be incorporated into your day-to-day work and benefit your clinics.
We are offering this 1 day workshop FREE OF CHARGE on Friday 4th May 2012 . Refreshments will be served throughout the day and 5 CPD points will be awarded for attendance. The competition will take place on Sat 7th July with a 1pm kick off time.
