TRAINEE PROSTHETIC TECHNICIAN – LUTON & DUNSTABLE HOSPITAL

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Prosthetic Technician to join our technical team based at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital.
This rewarding role involves learning to undertake efficient artificial limb manufacturing and limb/orthotic repairs in a highly dynamic workshop and clinical environment. You will be working alongside technicians and clinicians to ensure the delivery of a first class service.
The position would suit a person from a craft apprenticeship or hobbyist type background with practical experience in using workshop tools. Qualifications in or an attribute for resistant materials/woodworking and metalworking skills would be a benefit. However, consideration would be given to any person with the necessary hand skill dexterity, and a keen interest to learn the processes and skills needed.
