Job: Orthotist

Orthotist Required for consulting work.

Candidates may work from home if desired.

Celtic Orthotics requires an experienced Orthotist to assist us manufacture custom made foot orthotics using a wide range of materials and plastics.

Successful candidates will be required to apply their clinical experience and knowledge of materials to achieve best results. Experience of orthotic design, CAD -CAM, direct milling & CNC fabrication is a distinct advantage.

Candidates must demonstrate the following key attributes and skills:

• Ability to work on own innovative and as part of a team.
• Measure patients for orthotics.
• Consult on fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company quality and quantity standards.
• Good communication skills to allow you to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge and hand skills needed to fabricate and repair orthoses according to patient measurements, casts and in compliance with a physician’s prescription
• Liaise with medical practitioners to achieve best orthotic outcomes.
• Be able to interpret clinical orders, work to technical instructions undertaking precise measurements, identify raw material requirements in the repair and construction of Foot Orthotics

Candidates must possess at least 3-5 years relevant experience in the orthotics industry.
