Job: Orthotic Technician

Allard Support UK Ltd: A leading manufacturer of Spinal Orthotic products, based in Dundalk, Ireland, are seeking to recruit an Orthotic Technician. The successful candidate will work as part of our busy technical team, providing high quality products and services to our worldwide customer base.  A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate and will be commensurate with experience and abilities.

The Role:

• Work as part of a busy technical team producing high quality custom spinal orthotics
• Perform cast rectifications
• Interpret and understand patient information (measurement, x rays, etc.) and complete Orthosis design to established protocols.
• Fabricate and finish bespoke thermoplastic orthosis to high standards of workmanship
• Assist the Technical Manager with various projects

The Requirements:

• A minimum of two years previous experience as Orthotic Technician
• Ability to understand and interpret product specification charts
• Ability to work to deadlines and achieve manufacturing targets
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional hand craft skills

• Display the ability to work in an environment of minimal supervision where initiative and judgement are key qualities.
• Good communication skills
