Job: Orthotic Prescription Specialist

This role will be of special interest to experienced Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Pedortists, Prosthetist & Orthotists with experience prescribing foot orthotics

Celtic Orthotics requires an experienced Orthotics Specialist to assist us in the prescription of custom made foot orthotics.

Successful candidates will be required to apply their clinical experience and knowledge of orthotics for best patient outcomes.

Candidates must demonstrate the following key attributes and skills:

• Ability to work on own innovative and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to build and develop relationships with internal and external customers.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent patient skills with good chair side manner.
• Excellent knowledge of lower limb foot biomechanics.
• Liaise with medical practitioners to achieve best orthotic outcomes.
• Good hand/eye coordination along with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience of foot scanning technologies and cast measurements.
• Possess a good knowledge of medical footwear.
• Be able to interpret clinical orders, work to technical instructions undertaking precise measurements.

Candidates must possess at least 3-5 years experience prescribing orthotics.. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare. Ireland.
