Job: Experienced Metal Work Technician

Renace Ltd is a leading Orthopaedic Footwear Manufacturer and supplier of Orthotic Products, based in Dronfield S18. We are looking to recruit an experienced Orthotics Metal Work Technician to join our Custom Orthotics team, dealing with all aspects of manufacturing.

Our successful candidate would need the ability to understand and interpret specification charts/ orthotic prescriptions. The role would encompass manufacturing orders with the utmost care and attention to detail, working in the metal room, bending steels, leather work and finishing KAFO’s and other metal devices. The right person would have excellent hand to eye co-ordination and problem solving skills. Previous experience of orthopaedic plastic manufacturing is essential and Plastic would be advantageous but further training can/will be given.

Most importantly we are looking for someone who wants to get their teeth into a role with a proven track record of metal/plastics manufacture and learn all aspects of this growing business with a “hands-on/can-do” attitude.
